The Technical Side

Epoxy vs. Polyaspartic.

Epoxy Base Coat

We use a high-build epoxy for the base layer of every system. It self-levels well, bonds deeply into ground concrete, and gives the flake blend something solid to sit in — which is why it's the industry standard for the structural layer of a flake floor.

Polyaspartic Topcoat

Our topcoats are polyaspartic rather than standard epoxy. They cure in hours instead of days, resist UV yellowing, and stay more flexible in cold weather — all of which matter a lot in an Idaho garage or outdoor slab.
